Manuscript
 Any document in printed form
 ‘’manu’’ ‘’scriptus’’ that means to ‘’write by hand’’
 The speaker makes the entire speech by referring to the printed document, or as seen n the
teleprompter.

Delivering someone else’s manuscript

This type can take many different forms such as; short story, a poem, or an article.

With a proclamation, the wording is exact and must be read exactly as written.

Teleprompter- a display device that prompts that person speaking with an electronic visual of a speech or
script.

Informative Speech
 The speaker intends to educate their audience about a specific topic.

This focus on tangible items like gadgets, products, structures or people.

This focuses on a process or sequence of events.


Speech about events

This focuses on an event that happened, is happening.

This focuses on beliefs, knowledge, theories, principles, or ideas.
