INTER CAMPUS CHEERDANCE COMPETITION

GUIDELINES:

1. Each campus can only field one (1) team with all males, all females or mixed members
2. The team must be composed a maximum of thirty-five (35) dancers, cheerers, lifters, fliers,
spotters NOT including the props personnel and musicians.
3. All participants must be a bonafide student of Top Achievers Private School, Inc. (Academic
Year 2023-2024) representing their respective campus.
4. The costume can be of any design and materials provided it is appropriate to the agreed
concept ̶ Disney Movies. They can wear any kind of footwear or can be also barefooted as
they wish.
5. The choreography may be accomplished by tape-recorded music or live drums or band
accompaniment. Tape-recorded music in an MP3 format must be submitted to Sir Christian C.
Sententa 3 days prior to the competition.
6. Each team must assign its own music director to facilitate the playing of the music. The music
director is responsible for checking the entire music 30 minutes prior to the contest proper.
7. Exhibitions, stunts and pyramids are allowed maximum of four (4) levels.
8. The whole presentation must be in a maximum of eight (8) minutes, including entrance, yell,
exit, participant’s set-up, dismantling of props. The time will commence as soon as the green
flag will be raised and the red flag will be raised to mean “end” of the performance including
the exit (until the last performer leaves the dance area).
9. There will be an ocular inspection one (1) hour prior to the start of the program.
10. Blockings and markings are allowed at the venue one (1) day prior to the competition as long
as it is coordinated to teachers that are assigned.
11. One (1) point will be deducted from each judge for every one (1) minute overtime. Any
violation of the aforementioned rules/ guidelines, a group will be deducted with one (1) point
from each judge. Penalties will be deducted from the total average of the group from every
judge.
12. Once the winning team is announced the result is final and irrevocable.
