1. MPL Weekly Timesheet Form

In December 2004, Compac Mechanical Project Leaders (MPLs) started using a
new Timesheet template in Excel, and a new list of Task codes. This document
has instructions about using the new time sheet and a list of the related Task
Codes. Please KEEP THIS DOCUMENT for reference.

1.1. Description
The Weekly Onsite Timesheet form is part of your work documentation as a
Compac MPL. You must complete the Weekly Onsite Timesheet form every
week, and return it to Compac administration. As the Mechanical Project leader,
you are also responsible for people in your team completing and returning their
timesheets on schedule.

The Timesheet must be received by Compac Administration by 12:00 noon on

Tuesday of each week. If Compac has NOT received your Timesheet for the
previous week by that day and time, you will only be paid for 40 hours of work, not
any overtime you have done the previous week. Also, both Administration and
Accounting will be inconvenienced on your behalf.

It is important that your Timesheet is filled out correctly. The Item Code for each
Job is especially important. Item Codes are provided on the Timesheet.

The Weekly Onsite Timesheet form is located on the Compac network.

1.2. Completing and Managing Customer Service

Reports
1. Each Monday, complete the Weekly Onsite Timesheet for the previous week
with your work details.
2. E-mail the Weekly Onsite Timesheet for that week to your Compac
Administration contact. If you are having e-mail difficulties, you may fax the
Onsite Timesheet to Service in New Zealand so that it is received on time.
However, you will need to e-mail it later.
Note: We recommend that, to ensure that your Weekly Onsite Timesheet e-mail is
received at Compac, you use the Message Options/ Request a Read Receipt option
in Microsoft Outlook. This will send you a confirmation that your Compac contact has
received and read your timesheet e-mail.

1.3. Task Codes

The updated timesheet has an additional column next to ‘Item Code’ called ‘Task
Code’.

Task Codes are very important. Task Codes track specific areas of installations and
are now an essential component of your timesheet. You only have to enter Task
Codes when you are working on an installation. When you are working on a CSR,
you only need to enter the CSR # & the appropriate Item Code (i.e. 86 for Electronic
Service).

To fill out an Installation time sheet:

1. Enter the Job Number.
2. Enter the Item Code – these are the codes that you have already been using
for installations – egg, 36 for Electronic Installation
3. Enter the Task Code for the particular part of the installation that you are
working on.
4. Enter the remaining data: Work Description, Start, and End.

The time sheet will look like this:

Job # Item Task Work Description O S Start End Total
or CSR Code Code Office
Only
#
MON 204213 39 Travel to site X 0730 0800
36 7 Setup weighing/tests/calibration 0800 1000
36 16 Setup displays - CDM & BDMs 1000 1200

If you are working on an installation where you have problems, or have not been able
to complete a task successfully, you will still enter the appropriate Item Code. You
will then also the appropriate Task Code which relates to the area of the installation
where there have been problems. Enter details in the Work Description area of the
timesheet.

An example of this is:

Job # Item Task Work Description O S Start End Total

or CSR Code Code Office
Only
#
MON 204213 39 Travel to site X 0730 0800
36 7 Setup weighing/tests/calibration 0800 1000
