L1 Fall Exam 1

In the past class, we answered the question “What do you like to do in your free time?”. This
exam will demonstrate your ability to not only name your hobbies, but talk about your habits and
why you choose to take on the hobby. Your dialogue must include the following:

1. An opening to start the conversation.

2. Name the hobby of your choice.
3. Describe how much time you spend on your hobby. How often do you do it during the
week? At what time of day? For how long?
4. Describe why you started the hobby. How long have you been participating in it?
5. End the conversation cordially.

This task shall be completed by partners. You may talk about a hobby you both share or two
separate hobbies. There is no recommended time duration. The dialogue must be memorized,
you will be allowed one note card with 30 words or less on the card. This note card will be
shown to your instructor before your presentation.
