1. WHAT IS THE CONCEPPT OF
ENERGY?
The capacity for doing work. There are
many types of energy like: thermical,
chemical, nuclear, etc.
(La capacitat de fer treball. N‘hi ha de
molts tipus com: tèrmica, química,
nuclear, etc.)
2. ENERGY SCHEME
There are two types of energy:
Renewable: wind, solar,
geothermal, hydro, biomass.
Non-renewable: oil, coal, nuclear,
natural gas

Hi ha dos tipus d'energia:

Renovables: eòlica, solar,
geotèrmica, hidràulica, biomassa.
No renovables: petroli, carbó,
nuclear, gas natural
 3. WHAT IS AN ENERGY SOURCE?
WHICH SOURCES PRODUCE CO2?

El diòxid de carboni s'afegeix a l'atmosfera de manera

natural quan els organismes respiren o es
descomponen (desintegració), les roques
carbonatades es meteoritzen, es produeixen incendis
forestals i els volcans entren en erupció. També
s'afegeix a l'atmosfera mitjançant activitats humanes
com: la combustió de combustibles fòssils i boscos i la
producció de ciment.

 THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT
The greenhouse effect is a process that occurs when
gases in Earth's atmosphere trap the Sun's heat. This
process makes Earth much warmer than it would be
without an atmosphere
L'efecte hivernacle és un procés que es produeix
quan els gasos de l'atmosfera terrestre atrapen la
calor del Sol. Aquest procés fa que la Terra sigui molt
més calenta del que seria sense atmosfera

OF “SUSTAINABILITY”?
Is the maintaining a process over the time. For
example, when you cut a tree, you plant a new tree to
maintain the forest.
Es el manteniment d’un procés durant el temps. Per
exemple, quan tu tal·les un arbre, tornes a plantar-
ne un per mantenir el nivell dels boscos.
