To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure and confidence that I write this letter of recommendation for Connie Lee,
University of Arizona student nurse. I am faculty in the 2nd semester obstetrics course at the UAZ
College of Nursing and was Connie’s instructor in the Spring of 2023.

I have been faculty at the College of Nursing for ten years. Prior to teaching, I worked for
Carondelet Health Network as an RN for 28 years. I served four years as a clinical educator and one
year as manager of the antepartum/women’s surgical/maternal-newborn unit at St. Joseph’s
Hospital in Tucson, AZ. Prior to women’s health, I worked for 20 years as a cardiac telemetry
nurse.

As Connie’s instructor, I found her to be engaged, thoughtful, and kind. She possesses good critical
thinking skills as well as a high level of professionalism. Connie was consistently prepared in the
clinical setting and did well academically in both the clinical and classroom setting.

Connie is compassionate, humble, and was noted to always be supportive of her student
colleagues. I feel confident recommending Connie to you, as I believe she will be successful as a
nurse, and a great team member in whatever type of nursing she pursues! If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact me at (520) 404-9748.

With kind regards,

Sharon C. Hitchcock, DNP, RNC
