Dear Ms. Beeson,

I am writing to express my interest in the Registered Nurse RN New Graduate Tucson position in the
Neurological Intensive Care Unit at Banner University Medical Center. Given my rigorous academic
accomplishments, I am confident my skills and passion for providing holistic care to critically ill patients
within the Neurological ICU makes me an ideal and well qualified candidate for this position.

I will be graduating from The University of Arizona College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing in December of 2023. I am equipped with the proper skills and compassion required for serving
as a Neurological Intensive Care Unit nurse. I am also highly adaptable and work efficiently in a team
setting. I recently completed my New Nurse Experience preceptorship of 180 hours on the Neurological
Intensive Care Unit and worked closely with Kaitlyn Guobis RN. While there, I developed my hands on
clinical skills and strengthened my communication skills with the interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

In addition to my education, I have had many opportunities outside of the healthcare setting to develop
skills that improve my patient care. I was a Vice President of my student government in high school
which gave me the opportunity to develop and enact different programs such as open mic night and
school field days. I will bring this to my nursing career by joining unit committees and initiating
programs that help support my fellow nurses and improve patient care. I also have experience with
developing a trusting relationship with caregivers and worked at a summer camp for many years where I
cultivated multitasking and organizational skills while gaining trust of parents who were there to drop off
their children. This translates into the nursing career because as an ICU nurse, there are often many
patients with different orders that must be managed as well as caregivers who look for support during
such an emotional time.

I strongly identify with the five values of compassion, dignity, respect, integrity, and innovation
represented by Banner Health. I will be taking my NCLEX in early February 2024 and am eager to hear
from you regarding the prospect of beginning my career at your facility. Thank you for your time and
