I am a recent graduate from the University of Arizona, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in

Nursing with an emphasis in integrative health. Throughout my nursing program, I obtained
over 375 hours of clinical experience in several units at multiple facilities, working alongside
multiple RNs, and for an additional 144 hours, I worked under the supervision and guidance of a
nurse preceptor on the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit at your facility. I believe my attention to
detail, multitasking abilities, and excellent communication skills will make me a valuable
addition to the care team. These skills, as well as my educational and clinical background, would
enable me to thrive as a nurse and be an asset to your facility.

Throughout my clinicals and preceptorship, I discovered my love for the heart and cardiac
nursing. I am thrilled to be applying for this role at Banner Heart Hospital. I have experience
working in multiple cardiac-care units (CVICU, cardiac catheterization lab, CPCU, and OR), where
I had practice with and exposure to IV insertion and removal, ECG interpretation and
monitoring, learning about cardiac-related symptoms, commonly used cardiac drugs, and the
ability to watch several cardiac surgeries. I feel that the knowledge I have gained from these
unique experiences has prepared me for this position.

Aside from familiarity with cardiac nursing, the program I attended for my BSN specialized in
integrative and holistic nursing, which focuses on treating the whole patient, including their
mind, body, and spirit. This program focused greatly on therapeutic communication, prioritizing
least invasive treatment interventions, nonpharmacological interventions, and nature as a
healing power. I believe that with this background in integrative health that I could bring a
unique perspective and innovative approach to patient care.

I believe my clinical experience, dynamic skill set, and background in integrative health would
allow me to become a cohesive part of the Banner Health workplace. Thank you for your
