ACTIVITY DOCUMENTATION REPORT


PART I – BACKGROUND INFORMATION

A. Rationale of the Program/Activity

In accordance to RA 11206 otherwise known School Career Guidance and


Counselling shall implement in school Abo-Bukal Elementary School
conduct Career Day Showcase designed to provide students with a
comprehensive understanding of various career options and pathways.

B. Objectives of the Activity:

1. Introduce students to a diverse range of career options beyond


traditional professions.
2. Inspire and motivate students by providing them with real-life examples
of successful professionals.
3. The program provides students with the opportunity to engage in
meaningful conversations with professionals, enabling them to seek
guidance and advice regarding their career choices.
4. Help students understand the practical aspects of different careers and
develop relevant skills.
5. Allow students to build connections with professionals and industry
experts.
6. Bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world
applications by exposing students to professionals from various industries

C. Expected Outcome and Results

The Career Day Showcase program aims to empower students with


knowledge, inspiration, and guidance to make informed career choices. By
providing them with exposure to a wide range of career options and
facilitating interactions with professionals, the program plays a crucial role
in shaping students' future career paths.

D. Summary Profile of Participants

The Career Day Showcase participants consist of students and teachers


who actively participate in the event. The students, dressed in different
costumes representing the careers they aspire to pursue, play a crucial role
in bringing the event to life. Here is a summary profile of the participants:

1. Students:
- Age: The students participating in the Career Day Showcase are typically
from various grade levels, ranging from elementary to high school.
- Aspirations: Each student chooses a career that they are interested in or
curious about. They dress up in costumes that represent their chosen
professions, showcasing their enthusiasm and creativity.
- Engagement: The students actively participate in the event, interacting

- Inspiration: The students' participation in the Career Day Showcase
serves as a source of inspiration for their peers, encouraging them to
explore their own career aspirations and goals.
2. Teachers:
- Role: The teachers play a crucial role in organizing and facilitating the
Career Day Showcase. They guide and support the students throughout the
event.
- Mentorship: Teachers provide guidance and mentorship to the students,
helping them choose appropriate costumes and providing insights into
different careers.
- Career Guidance: Teachers use the event as an opportunity to provide
career guidance to the students, sharing their knowledge and experiences
related to various professions.

the students, fostering their confidence and enthusiasm during the
showcase.

the event.

PART II – HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY

A. Preliminary Activities

The Career Day Showcase was held on May 2, 2024 Abo-Bukal


Elementary School. The event aimed to provide students with a platform to
explore different career options, showcase their creativity, and gain insights
into various professions. The program was organized by the dedicated team
led by Mrs. Myra D. Asegurado, the School ICT Coordinator.

The event began with a solemn and reflective opening prayer led by Mrs.
Carina L. Capars, a Grade III Teacher. The participants then stood proudly
as they sang the nationalistic song, expressing their love and pride for their
country.
A captivating video presentation followed, which highlighted the importance
of career exploration and the endless possibilities that lie ahead for the
students. This video served as a source of inspiration, encouraging the
students to dream big and pursue their passions.
Mrs. Rosemarie C. Bituin, a Master Teacher I, delivered the welcome
remarks, expressing gratitude to all the participants, teachers, and
professionals who contributed to the success of the event. Her warm words
set the tone for the exciting day ahead.
To provide the students with a deeper understanding of different career
paths, a career orientation session was conducted. A video presentation
showcased the diverse professions available and the skills required for
each. This session aimed to broaden the students' horizons and inspire
them to explore various career options.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of career outfits and talents
by students from different grade levels. The students dressed up in
costumes representing their dream careers and showcased their talents
through various performances. The audience was captivated by the
students' creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication.
Certificates of recognition were awarded to acknowledge the outstanding
achievements and participation of the students in the Career Day
Showcase. The recipients were commended for their exceptional
performances and their commitment to showcasing their chosen careers.
In recognition of the invaluable guidance and support provided by the
teachers, tokens of appreciation were presented to Mrs. Shirly P. Platero,
Mrs. Cristina B. Consignado, Mrs. Rosemarie C. Bituin, and Mrs. Maria D.
Coronado. These teachers played a vital role in guiding the students and
nurturing their talents and aspirations.
Mrs. Darlene M. Comendador, a Grade VI Teacher, delivered the closing
remarks, expressing her gratitude to everyone involved in making the
Career Day Showcase a resounding success. She emphasized the
importance of nurturing students' dreams and guiding them towards a
bright future.

Throughout the event, Mrs. Gilda C. Molina, the emcee, skillfully hosted the
program, ensuring a smooth flow and engaging the audience. Her vibrant

energy and enthusiasm added to the overall success of the event.


The Career Day Showcase concluded with a sense of accomplishment and
inspiration with the guidance of our diligent School Head Mrs. Bella V.
Bagsic. The event provided a platform for students to explore their career
interests, showcase their talents, and gain valuable insights into various
professions. It was a testament to the dedication and commitment of the
organizers, teachers, and students.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the participants, teachers,
professionals, and guests who made the Career Day Showcase a
memorable and impactful event. Their support and encouragement have
undoubtedly left a lasting impression on the students, guiding them
towards a future filled with endless possibilities
