Dear Benefactor,

My heart is full of gratitude as I write to you, my dear people. May this period of reflection and grace as we
prepare to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection at Easter draw us closer to our savior so that we will all have our
lives renewed according to God's will, and may He give all of you your heart’s desire and abundant blessing. I
wish to take this golden opportunity to wish you a grace-filled period of recommitting our hearts to the one who
loved us.

It is with great pleasure that I write to express our deepest thanks for your recent financial support to Mary Mother
of God Primary School’s running funds. The generous contribution from people like you provides the financial
and moral support needed to continue our mission in service to the best good of our human community. No
doubt without your generous support many pupil’s chances for education would remain challenging. We are
always grateful for your kind-hearted gesture extended to our school, especially at a time like this when we are
experiencing a dry spell of drought that is fueling hunger across communities. We are just hoping and praying
that is passes soon.

we believe that we are the hands of our Creator and whatever we do for the least among us is directly done to
Him.

Your support has gone a long way to play a key role in feeding our big population (1889 pupils), paying salaries
of our school support staff and many other runnings, it’s such a big contribution to our success and continuity in
service as we try to reduce illiteracy levels, Education is, we believe, the most lasting and effective way we can
help children and their families to escape from the cycle of poverty, hunger, and increasing insecurity/ crime, It
is hard to talk about the love of God to people that are suffering from the right and left, but gestures as yours
give us a proper live example as we instruct the little ones to the Love of God in Jesus, for this is the ultimate gift
of life.

we are delighted to share the success of our pupils, especially the students who did national exams for Primary
Seven, first because we were able with your help to have all our candidates in a boarding section all the 63
candidates excelled in the first and second grade with only 1 pupil in the third grade and this performance ranked
us the first at the regional level. All our learners obtained results that qualify them for admission at the secondary
level. All the 29 pupils that the school was fully supporting in primary seven who did national exams received
good results they owe these results to your great help, without which they wouldn’t have completed their Primary
leaving exam, given the obstacle that lay before them.

The rest of the other continuing pupils managed to get promoted to the perspective classes, the reality is that
we cannot afford to maintain them all in the boarding section single-handedly we are doing our best to manage
a number that is within our means in terms of our resource envelope,

Below is a sample of two students who were under our support, this is their success story and token of
appreciation for the great help extended.

Story- Catherine Napeyok : I am very happy to write this letter in appreciation of

the good work and help done to me by my Headteacher Sr. Dawit and the school
administration when I started school I was scared that I was not going to be able to
finish because from the start I knew that my mother was not able to support me in
school being that she is alone in supporting our family. I decided to be very careful in
class to make it on the top of the list such that I could be noticed being the small girl
I was. My grades at some times went down due to the worry that I had in my heart
that I was just trying and going nowhere.
At some moment I thought of giving up because I sued to lack scholastic materials
and school necessities, but before I left school, I chose to share with my headteacher
about my situation to my surprise, she listened to me and offered to help in ways she
could manage, she gave me all the schooling needs and she admitted me into
boarding section where I could concentrate well on my studies and religious life because we have prayers every
evening after the day schoolers have gone. I was very happy and my mother was happy too. This gave many
hope for education and now I was left with only one thing, to read my books.
I started performing well in class because I had no stress like other times when I was without any help, that is
what made me struggle to get a first grade to appreciate the work of her hand and those helping our school. This
first grade of 9 aggregates is for my school.
I kindly appreciate all the people behind helping our school, our school is now very good and performing well,
thank you for the wonderful help that is given to me and some others, may God bless her and everybody of good
heart.

My name is Achia Isaac, I am 16 years old, I grew up with my grandmother and it’s from
her home that I was coming from to attend school, I should be by now in secondary but
due to poverty in my home, I had to loose two years of study while at home until when
I was identified through my football talent that I was put on school help program when I
was in primary six until now that I am finishing with a first grade of 9 aggregates. I have
enjoyed my studies at my School Mary Mother of God where the students and teachers
accepted me to lead the students as sport prefect. Learning at my school has been a
good one because of the following; there is good cooperation between our teachers,
they are cooperative in helping us learn and they teach us without being forced like it is
in other UPE schools. The school library helps us get books for reading. The school is
helping many pupils from poor families with many things used at school, we have many pupils from the villages
who come with bad behavior but the teachers and prefects have helped to keep discipline in all pupils. I have
had a chance to stay in the boarding from primary six till now, eating well and sleeping well, but I have not paid
any money to the school. The school helps me and am very happy for helping me. We are all happy. May God
bless our school more. Happy New Year.

As you can see, we have come a long way looking back, we have now taken good strides in the proper direction,
we are where we are because you are with us, your generous contribution to our school and community is very
important to our most important people, the pupils we serve. It’s important to me, too. Your ongoing commitment
to our School truly means the world, and we really couldn’t do it without People like you,
All the progressive and praiseworthy work has indeed been possible only because of the massive cooperation
of everyone associated with the School, At Mary Mother of God Primary School, we can only say that we are
committed to producing wholistic, useful, confident, efficient, and self-sufficient students, who carry out the
values of love, compassion, empathy, truthfulness, and sacrifice everywhere.
