IV. Evaluation:
“MODAL MASTERY”
Mechanics:
1. The learners will be divided into two groups.
2. The teacher selects a paper from a box containing modal verbs and a function (such as
permission or ability).
3. Each group quickly constructs a grammatically correct sentence using the selected modal verb
and function, writing it on a cardboard provided to them. They have only 5 seconds to do so.
4. After 5 seconds, the teacher shouts "Go!" to start the race. Groups raise their flags and quickly
say their sentence. The group that raises their flag first gets to answer.
5. For the scoring, the winning team will have 5 additional points for the upcoming quiz. However,
the opposing team will have 3 additional points for their participation and effort.

Rules:
1. Players must work together and collaborate effectively with their groupmates to create the
sentence within the given time limit.
2. Groups must not raise their flag before the teacher says "Go". They should wait for the
teacher's signal to begin presenting their sentence.

V. Assignment:
Perform a role-playing scenario where you must use the different modal verbs.
