IPED SCRIPT

PART 1: SY 2022-2023
INTRO:
Madyaw na Allaw Kamayu Tibu!!
Presenting… the DON RICARDO BRIZ CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ACCOMPLISHMENT
REPORT for the School Year 2022-2023
As a dedicated IPED implementing school, we remain committed to upholding the objectives of
the IPED Program through a series of impactful activities:

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
1. IP LEARNERS PROFILLING-
Drbriz conducted a survey in every grade level / as the baseline to identify/ the IP learners
enrolled. For this school year, there are 187 IP pupils enrolled with 94 males and 93 females.
Male = 94 Female =93
The dominant population are coming from the tribes of Mansaka, Mandaya kagan and
Dibabawon.
2. ORGANIZATIONS
We arranged the selection of (IP) pupils for an organization where they showed interest in
various activity
Additionally, DRBrizCES conducted regular meetings with IP Youth leaders and members
throughout the month of October.
3. ADVOCACIES
World Intellectual Property Day
On August 9, 2022, we celebrated World Intellectual Property (IP) Day and the event
received full support from our principal, Mrs. Marilyn B. Palo, Ed.D. The occasion was graced by
the presence of our esteemed IP elders, pupils, and teachers.
During the celebration, our IP teachers adorned themselves in traditional attire, specifically
wearing the DAGOM.
National Month Indigenous Celebration

Drbriz CES joined in celebrating the month-long celebration by promoting an inclusive,


culture-sensitive environment that protects the rights of all students regardless of their socio-
economic differences.

The activity was started by hanging of a tarpaulin with the theme “Kasaysayan, Karunungan
at Wika ng mga Katutubong pamayanan: Saligan ng Katutubong Pagkakakilanlan at Tulay Tungo
sa Inklusibong Kaunlaran. “

Throughout the month, a series of successful activities tailored for IP learners across
different grade levels were organized which are:
 Coloring sessions featuring IP attire
 Poster-making sessions
 Arts and crafts workshops focusing on bead making
 Indigenous painting sessions utilizing materials sourced from nature such as flower and
leaf extracts along with charcoal.

4. Culmination Program
During the culmination of our activities, all winners were recognized by presenting them
with awards and certificates.
These prizes were generously sponsored by both the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and
Mr. Bia Teresita P. Baloyo, our Barangay Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR).
CURRICULUM CONTEXTUALIZATION
5. Capacitating Teachers on contextualized lesson Plans.
During the "MPRE and In-Service Training", I, the school’s IP coordinator” was assigned to
facilitate and provide comprehensive guidance to all teachers regarding the seamless
integration of IPED localized materials, instruments, Indigenous Culture, and Traditions into our
lessons.
STAKEHOLDERS PARTNERSHIP/LINKAGES
6. Brigadda Eskwela 2023.
During Brigada Eskwela 23, IP parents actively supported by participating in the cleaning of
the school surroundings.
At the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Program, we distributed "40 sets" of school supplies to our
IP learners. This generous initiative was made possible through the leadership of our Barangay
IPMR, Bia Teresita P. Baloyo.
Additionally, the DRBCES SPTA allocated funds from their fundraising efforts for the
construction of our IP house. IP parents are also planning to contribute and support the
construction of this dedicated space for our Indigenous community.
TEACHERS LEARNERS SUPPORT
7. Division Level Conferences and Meeting
The school participated in an orientation session focusing on various forms and templates
essential for mapping IP learners and school profiling held at HEROBEN Hotel
8. Milk Feeding Program
The IP's School-Based Feeding Program successfully received their milk allocation, aiming to
enhance the health and nutritional status of learners through this initiative.

PART 2: SY 2023-2024
INTRO: As we celebrates Indigenous Peoples Education Program, DrBriz CES commits to
continue this initiative until the next academic year. Here is the Accomplishment Report of Don
Ricardo Briz Central Elementary School for the school year 2023-2024.

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
1. IP LEARNERS PROFILLING-
For this school year, we continued gathering data for the list of IP learners and an increase in
their population can be observed.
A total of 218 learners are counted to which 108 are males and 110 are females.
Male = 108 Female =110 Total = 219
The dominant population are coming from Mansaka, Mandaya kagan and Dibabawon tribe.

2. ORGANIZING
Last September 6, 2023, an Election of IP Pupil Officers for this academic year was ushered.
DRBRIZ CES also conducted an orientation and organized an IP Parents' Meeting, including the
election of IP Parent Officials, in collaboration with our IPMR Teresita P. Baloyo.
The oath taking of the newly elected IP Parents Association Officers, spearheaded by our
Principal 4, Dr. Marilyn B. Palo, was held at the school gymnasium last September 20, 2023.

3. ADVOCACY
World IP Day Celebration
The said event which was celebrated last August 9, 2023 was started by Hanging of tarpaulin
with presence of our principal r. Marilyn B. Palo, IP elders, teachers, and students.

4. ADVOCACY
National Month Indigenous Celebration
We celebrated the launching of Pambansang Buwan ng mga Katutubo 2023-2024. with the
Theme: “Pundasyon ng Katutubong Edukasyon ay Patatagin,Katutubong Karunungan ay
Patuloy na Pagyamanin”.
Teachers wore IP Inspired Tribal attire during pictorial.
We successfully conducted different activities for the IP learners by Grade Level such as:
Coloring of IP Attire, Poster Making, Arts&Craft Beads Making, INDIGENOUS PAINTING using
indigenous materials such as flower & leaves extract and charcoal.
We also Promoted the IP culture through IP games during IP Month Celebration like: Kadang-
kadang, a traditional IP racing game using the coconut shells, and Santik, igniting a fire using
bamboos and stones.

5. Culmination Program
Of course, the winners of every game were honored by giving them awards and certificates.
The PRIZES were sponsored by our generous PTA officers & Bia Teresita P. Baloyo, our
Barangay IPMR.

 CURRICULUM CONTEXTUALIZATION
6. Capacitating Teachers on contextualized lesson Plans.
Last November 29, we facilitated LAC SESSION about IPED Integration and Contextualization on
the IPEd Curriculum to build the capacity of teachers in the implementation of Iped Program.
This was led by our Resource Speaker, Mam Shiela Onlos Castillon.
.7. STAKEHOLDERS PARTNERSHIP/LINKAGES
* IP Parents supported Brigada Eskwela 23 through participating in cleaning the school
surroundings.
We distributed sets of school supplies to the selected IP pupils. This activity is once again
initiated by our Brgy. IPMR Bia Teresita P. Baloyo.
The IP house construction was again fully supported by the IP Parents and SPTA by donating
funds.

7. Division Level Conferences and Meeting
I, as the school’s IP Coordinator, participated in SIP/AIP Planning for FY 2023-2030.
I endulged in Participatory Orthography Workshop of the Indigenous Peoples Languages of the
Four Indigenous Cultural Communities Last November 23-24, 2023 held at Mikos Brew

OUTRO:
Through our collective efforts here at Don Ricardo Briz Central Elementary School, we've
embraced the richness of Indigenous cultures, nurtured knowledge, and empowered our
learners.
As we move forward, let's continue to uphold respect, preserve traditions, and promote
inclusivity in all our endeavors.
