B. Establishing a purpose of the The teacher asks the learners what did you notice in the drawing that
lesson (MOTIVATION) the teacher presented
After noticing it described it or observe what is the sun and the moon

C. Presenting examples/instances This picture represent the clouds

of the new lesson
(PRE – ACTIVITY)

D. Discussing new concepts and

practicing new skills 1 Types of Clouds
(LESSON PROPER)
Cirrus clouds These are wispy, feathery clouds that are made of ice
crystals. They are found high in the atmosphere, at altitudes of
20,000 feet or more. Cirrus clouds often indicate that fair weather is
on the way.

Cumulus clouds These are puffy, white clouds that look like cotton
balls. They are formed by rising air currents and are often seen on
fair-weather days. Cumulus clouds can grow tall and dark,
transforming into thunderstorms.

Stratus clouds These are gray, sheet-like clouds that cover large
areas of the sky. They are formed by the lifting of moist air and can
produce light drizzle or snow.

E. Discussing new concepts and Important of clouds

practicing new skills 2
(DEEPENING) Clouds are much more than fluffy decorations in our sky. They act as
a giant thermostat, regulating Earth's temperature with high clouds
reflecting sunlight and lower clouds trapping heat. These wispy
giants are also the key players in the water cycle, collecting
evaporated water and returning it as rain, snow, or hail, replenishing
our freshwater supplies. Additionally, different cloud types act as
weather forecasters, allowing meteorologists to predict sunshine,
rain, or storms based on their shapes and formations. In short, clouds
are vital for regulating our climate, providing freshwater, and
predicting weather patterns

F. Developing Mastery Draw and Tell

(POST – ACTIVITY)
Instruction Draw the favorite types of clouds and after that kindly
tell to your classmate why did you choose these types of clouds.

G. Finding practical applications. Pick among the following among the sunny and rainy day which will
of concepts and skills in daily be the one you choose and why?
living (APPLICATION)

H. Making generalizations and Based on the types of clouds that we discussed give similarities and
abstractions about the lesson differences of each types of clouds
(GENERALIZATION)
I. Evaluating learning Direction: Write and described the different texture of each clouds
(ASSESSMENT) cirrus, cumulus, stratus clouds.

I. ASSIGNMENT Draw on your notebook the shape and texture of clouds that you
created described it and present it for tomorrow
