I. PURPOSE : To describe the details of controls established, that are implemented and to be
maintained for managing the breakages - Glass, Metal, Ceramic, Hard Plastic
and Wooden parts., to ensure the product supplied is safe and secure
throughout food chain.
II. SCOPE : Applicable to all production processes of Ghee

III. RESPONSIBILITY : Managers, Supervisors and Quality are responsible for preparation and
control of this procedure and Sr. Managing Partner is responsible to authorize
the same.
IV. REFERENCE SYSTEM : FSSC 22000 Version 6.0– Additional Requirements for any organizations in
the food chain.

cleaned, Window is replaced immediately
and nearby products are verified for its

Metal Breakages :

In general, Broken metal items /

machinery / tools are not allowed and not
used in production process.

In case of damage, it is isolated &

relocated. Nearby products are verified for
its suitability.

Ceramic & Hard Plastic :

In general, Ceramic items are not allowed

and not used in production process.

In case of hard plastic damage from

tools / broken, it is isolated, relocated and
