EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 028

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE IMPLEMENTING TEAM OF THE RPRH LAW IN BARANGAY LUSONG,

MUNICIPALITY OF SAN AGUSTIN, PROVINCE OF ROMBLON

WHEREAS, the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health (RPRH) law and its
implementing Rules and Regulations have been deemed effective with lifting of the Status Quo
by the Supreme Court last April.
WHEREAS, the Philippine Development Plan for 2017-2022 has likewise included in the
achievement of demographic dividend as a key strategy in harnessing the country’s potential
growth.
WHEREAS, President Duterte issued Executive Order No. 12 to mandate the Department
of Health (DOH) Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) Department of the
Interior and Local Government (DILG) and other relevant agencies, including local government
units ( LGU’s ), to attain and sustain zero unmet need for modern family planning;
WHEREAS, in compliance to Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health law and its
IRR, a Municipal implementing Team ( MIT ) for the RPRH Law needs to be created.
NOW THEREFORE, I, NATALIO C. MONTESA, Punong Barangay of Barangay Lusong,
Municipality of San Agustin, Province of Romblon, by bvirtue of powers vested in me by law, do
hereby order the Establishment of BARANGAY IMPLEMENTING TEAM ( BIT ) FOR RPRH OF
BARANGAY LUSONG, SAN AGUSTIN, ROMBLON which shall be constituted to its assigned
functions until successor shall have been chosen and qualified.
SECTION I. COMPOSITION - The Barangay Implementing Team ( BIT ) for Responsible
Parenthood and Reproductive Health shall be composed of :

Chairman: NATALIO C. MONTESA - Punong Barangay

Members:
CARLOS M. SOLANO - Barangay Secretary
IREJEAN M. MORTEL - Barangay Treasurer
CHRISTINE R. PERUCHO - Barangay Nutrition Scholar ( BNS )
RONABETH F. MIESA - Barangay Health Worker
Secretariat: TESSIE M. MINDO - Designated by the Punong Barangay.

SECTION 2. Functions of the Team:

1. Conduct regular quarterly meetings and special meetings when necessary.
2. Formulate policies necessary to promote the Programs on Population and Family
Planning which will cater the basic needs of men and women.
3. Prepare Annual Work and Financial Plan ( AWFP ).
4. Prepare and submit Semestral Accomplishment Report based on AWFP

SECTION 3. EFFECTIVITY; This Order shall take effect immediately.
