Do Now
1.What is friction?

The force that two surfaces exert on each other when they rub against
each other.

2. What is gravity?

A force that pulls objects towards each other.

Lesson
Friction -There is four types of friction. Static friction, Sliding friction,
Rolling friction, and Fluid friction.

Static friction-The friction that acts on objects that are not moving

Sliding friction- It occurs when two solid surfaces slide over each other.

Rolling friction- when a solid object moves through a fluid

Gravity
We have gravity on earth. In space we don't have gravity. In space when
you jump you are going to be everywhere. When you on earth and you
drop a cake from a hundred foot drop its going to stay there
Class work
Now you are going to do the classwork.

So what you are going to do is read the passage and then answer the
following questions. If a particular student is having problems they are
allowed to work with a extra person
