• Paramount Corporation Berhad (Paramount) was incorporated as a public limited company in 1969 under the name
Malaysia Rice Industries. The company was then involved in the rice milling business.
• In 1978, the company was restricted into a property development company and renamed in 1981.
• Paramount, as it is known today is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with two core
