This Method Statement is to give instructions regarding the Installation of

Raceways & Junction Boxes at the Project Site.

RESOURCES:
Raceways, Junction Boxes, Anchor Fasteners, Hi-tech Rods, Channels, Nuts & Bolts,
MATERIALS /
Hammering / Drilling Machine, Cutting Plier. Wire Stripper, Screw Drivers, Wall
PLANT / TOOLS:
Groove Cutting Machine, Chasing Machine & other Hand Tools.
MAN POWER Engineer, Electricians, Skilled / Semi-skilled Workers, Helpers.
DRAWINGS Approved GFC / Shop Drawings
FORMATS: Quality Formats as required for Installation, Testing & Commissioning.

Walls, as per the approved drawings.
 Mark of Locations of Wooden Ghattas &
Horizontal Raceways shown in the drawing.
 Drill holes on columns for fixing Raceways.
 Fix Wooden Ghattas & Horizontal
Raceways with proper scenarios.
 Fix Vertical Raceways.
 Check alignment.

3 Project Engineer / Installation ABOVE FALSE CEILING:

Site Supervisor /  Mark Locations & Route of Raceways &
Safety supervisor
Junction Boxes on the ceiling.
 Mark locations of Anchor Fasteners.
 Drill holes in ceiling slab for inserting &
fixing Anchor Fasteners.
 Insert Anchor Fasteners in the hole & fix
Hi-tech Rod of required length.
 Fix Horizontal supports / channels to Hi-
tech rods by using nuts & Bolts.
 Check the level with Sprit Level.
 Place Raceways on the supports.

QUALITY CONTROL

4 Site Engineer / Installation /  Quality Formats for Installation activities to

Quality Supervisor Termination be used.
