Freddie Mercury

Introduction:

A band name Smile began in the mid 1960s. It had

Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals) and

John Deacon (bass) and their lead singer Tim Staffell. In

1968 Tim left the group Smile and the band just lost their

lead singer. Minutes later they ran int Freddie Mercury. The

had a discussion on him joining the band. They united as a

band and named themselves Queen.


Biography

● Freddie Mercury moved to
Middlesex, England in 1964,
at the age of 17.
● In 1967, Freddie Mercury
joined a band called Smile.
● In 1970, Freddie Mercury took
over as the lead singer of
Smile, and renamed the band
Queen.
Biography
● The Open Air festival in
Barcelona, on October 8th, was
Freddie Mercury's last
performance.
● The day before he died, Freddie
Mercury announced that he had
AIDS.
● He died of bronchial pneumonia
on November 24, 1991
● In 2001, Queen was inducted
into the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame in Cleveland, Ohio
Biography
● The album "A Night At The Opera" was
released in 1975
● The song Bohemian Rhapsody was
released on the album entitled "A Night at
the Opera" in 1975
● The song "Another One Bites the Dust"
was released on the album entitled "The
Game" in 1980
● In 1984, Queen decided to take a break.
During that break, Freddie Mercury
decided to release a solo album called
Love Kills.

and structure once again. This displays the lack of chorus and repeatable bridges in the song.

Conclusion:
Queen lasted about 15 years, 15 years
of great music and achievements. This
band showed the world that not only
you can play music the way you want
to, but you can do whatever you want
however you want. Freddie definitely
had a huge impact on style and the
music industry.
