My business is a product related business. This business will be run as a partnership. I

will be partnering with experienced businesswoman Sally Jones. A partnership involves
two or more owners that share responsibility of the company. This means that the two of
us will manage all aspects of the company while dividing certain jobs between us.
I chose this type of ownership because there is shared risk and responsibility between
the two of us. This means that if the company doesn’t perform well, the loss will be split
between the two of us and I won’t suffer a huge loss. There will also be a slightly smaller
amount of workload since we will each take a few tasks and I will also have someone to
bounce ideas off of. We can work together to refine company procedures and sales
pitches. Although a partnership means that the profits will be shared between both of
us, I still think it is a beneficial idea because having two minds behind the desk will bring
a unique style and more work will be accomplished faster through collaboration.

The location for my business is 00 E Main ST, Allen, TX 75002 – Collin County. The property does not currently have an address but
after being built it would be in the 1100-1200 range. It is just off of E Main St which will guarantee that people see it as they are
passing by and it is easily accessible. Mustang Creek and trails is on the border of my property and it provides a calm and inviting
setting where outdoor seating could also be set up. Being near residential areas helps attract my target audience, families, to the
shop.
 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The main purpose is to provide a build your own sundae

experience for customers.
When people enter the shop they will be greeted at the front
desk by one of our employees who will help them pay for the
number of people and the size of the sundae. They will then head
over to the service station where they will order a flavor of ice
cream and the server will scoop that into a cup. Then the
customers will choose a seat and servers will fill up the conveyor
belt with a variety of toppings including sauces (chocolate,
caramel, etc.) and get it moving. After that customers can spend
as long as they want building their sundaes as the conveyor belt

The social responsibility of my business is to provide a fun,

cheerful setting to indulge in a sweet treat. We want to provide
a friendly environment where customers can meet new people
and interact with each other while eating their sundae.
Since one part of our target audience is children, we will give
back to the community by participating in charity events for
children’s organizations such as cancer charities. We will get
involved by holding events in parks, fairs, city centers, etc.

 TARGET AUDIENCE

The target audience for my business includes families with kids, (typically
ranging from 5-10 years), and teenagers. Most kids like to be creative and
will enjoy the idea of getting to customize their sundae to their liking.
They will also find the concept of a rotating toppings bar unique and fun.
That being said there is no age restriction and the environment and food
is perfect for anyone willing to gorge on their own personal delicious
creation. It is a great place for adults that want to enjoy a sweet treat with
friends by adding their own personal style to the food.
The intended purpose is that people should have a fun time creating their
desserts and should be able to enjoy it in the pleasant and lively
environment. The tables will be large and circular with enough chairs to
incorporate many groups of people which will attract families and friends
that want to hang out together. The flooring will be tile and the walls will
be a solid color in order to accommodate the colorful lighting. There will
also be music playing in the background that is a little upbeat and
cheerful. This will ensure a joyful experience where everything will be laid
back and relaxing for the customer.
 ADVERTISING PLAN

Our advertising plan includes flyers, posters and billboards. In

addition to that, we would also incorporate online
advertisements as well as social media posts. This ensures that
people will see the ad in one place or the other and it can also
spread through other people without delay in social media. We
will have billboards in convenient roadside locations where
people can see it while driving by. A few posters will be put up in
the area near our business location. We would also plan and host
events such as ice cream socials where people would get to
physically try our products and this will encourage them to come
visit the shop especially in the summer.
