Learning Continuity Plan


A Learning Continuity Plan- seeks to ensure that
students' learning progresses even amidst disasters such as
natural calamities, storms, fires, and pandemics. This plan
overcomes obstacles created by the disasters through innovative
means of teaching and learning, keeping students on track with
their courses
 The Camalanda-an National High School envisions to
endow quality education amongst its clientele in a child-
friendly environment with the aid of the community and
other stakeholders upon materializing our goal in line with
our tagline “Shaping Hearts toward Innovation,
Nationalism and Excellence” (SHINE). As a response to
this call, amidst pandemic health crisis, we aspire to utilize
Home Study Modular modality delivery through learner’s
module, activity sheets and other strategic intervention
materials.

 How to implement the Home- based
modular Learning Modality?
Description
• No teacher- student face to face interaction
• Involves individualized instruction that allows learners to use self-learning modules
(SLMs) in print or digital format/ electronic copy, whichever is applicable in the context
of the learner, and other learning resources like Learner’s Materials, textbooks, activity
sheets, study guides and other materials
• Learners access electronic copies of learning materials on a computer, tablet PC or
smartphone.
• CD’s, USB storage and computer- based applications can all be used to deliver e-
learning materials.
• The teacher takes responsibility of monitoring the progress of the learners.
• The learners may ask assistance from the teacher via text messaging, chat or in any
social media forms.
• Where possible, the teacher shall do home visits to learners needing remediation or
assistance.
• Learning takes place in the home under parents’/guardians’/siblings’ supervision.

 A. Reproduction of Modules
 - reproduction of modules in school by the respective subject teachers/ class advisers
 -subject teachers will be the one to distribute the module.
 - subject teachers should identify the number of students in his/ her class to determine the number
of modules to be produce
 Bond papers will be provided by the school but you can also donate

 B.Orientation of
Parents/Guardians/Siblings/Learners
 - Prepare Information and Education Campaign Materials/
Advocacy Materials/ Infographics/ Video on Modular
instruction.
 - Conduct offline/ online orientation.
Need
 C. Distribution of Modules
 - Parents are the one responsible to get the module of their children from
the respective advisers.
 Write the name of the student in the module
 Establish linkage with PTA/ 4Ps Parent Leader/ Volunteers.
 - Map out learners and assign teacher focal person per catchment area.
 - Identify drop-off/ pick-up points and schedule to those areas afar from
school (Weekly distribution of modules).

 D.Monitoring of Learner’s Performance
 Establish communication platform (GC/ Mobile/ Radio).
 Conduct progress monitoring and decide for appropriate
intervention.
 Feedback to parents and provide remediation/ enrichment.

 E.Retrieval of Modules
 Parents should return the completed worksheets/ answers sheets
to school
 For distant areas, modules and completed worksheets/ answer
sheets be submitted at drop-off point every Monday.
 New set of modules will be given in exchange of the completed
modules.
