 A. WHAT IS CORONAVIRUS ?.
Coronavirus or the coronavirus is a group of viruses of the subfamily
Orthocoronavirinae in family Coronaviridae and order Nidovirales . This group
of viruses can cause disease in birds and mammals (including humans ). In
humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory infections which are generally mild,
such as colds , although some forms of disease such as SARS , MERS , and
COVID-19 are more deadly. Clinical manifestations that appear quite diverse in
other species: in chickens , coronaviruses cause upper respiratory tract
diseases , whereas in cows and pigs cause diarrhea . There is no vaccine or
antiviral drug to prevent or treat coronavirus infection in humans.

Coronaviruses are enveloped viruses with single plus RNA genomes and
symmetric helical nucleocapsids . The coronavirus genome number ranges
from 27-34 kilos of base pair , the largest among known RNA viruses . [5] The
name coronavirus is derived from the Latin word corona , which means the
crown, which refers to the appearance of virus particles (virions): they have a
fringe reminiscent of the crown or the solar corona .
B. WHAT IS PANDEMIC COVID-19 ?.
• The World Health Organization (WHO) has established the Corona
virus or COVID-19 as a pandemic because it has spread to more
than 100 countries in the world. WHO itself defines a pandemic as
a situation when the entire world population is likely to be affected
by this infection and potentially some of them fall ill.

• Quoted from the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), a pandemic is

a plague that is contagious everywhere or covers extensive
geography. The COVID-19 pandemic will have an impact on
various sectors of life such as the economy, social, including
education.
 C. WHAT IS THE IMPLICATION COVID-19
IN EDUCATION SYSTEM ?.

• With the holding of an online system the teacher should give students activities
to stimulate the brain so that when returning to their original activities students
are ready to restart learning, and provide an explanation of the covid-19 virus first
because this virus is very dangerous. Starting from giving an understanding of
why you must study at home about ways to prevent students from understanding
the dangers of co-19 that are reaching the world. by the way the teacher gives

• The policies implemented by the government to reduce activities including
learning, working from home still cause turmoil in the implementation. One of
them is in the process of assigning tasks. The number of assignments given to
students who are blaming,

• So that many parents complained to the teacher to reduce the assignments

given to their students, on the other hand the teacher held the teaching mandate
to follow the curriculum set by the government with a makeshift facility that many
tasks were not well delivered to cause problems about assigning tasks.

• The increase in the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia has resulted in
national and regional governments issuing various appeals,
regulations, and policies that are given to people throughout
Indonesia. Because the impact is very fatal, this virus is very easy to
spread and attack the body's immunity quickly even many casualties.
