Technique is an activity that use to change
student characteristic, may be from not knowing
to knowing. 
 Picture Series
Picture series is one of the good ways to use in
teaching speaking, writing and reading. Picture series
is a series of images that many in the interest by
students to help in the learning process. Many
students interesting with a picture series, they enjoy
and easy to understanding the lesson. Picture series
can make the students will be interested in answering
all questions about the picture when the teacher gave
an assignment.
Picture series consist of a
number of pictures which
relate each other and they
place in sequence. Picture
series is usually used to tell a
series of events or to tell a
story (Yunus, 1981: 49).
 Pictures as visual aids will attract students’ attention, and
motivate them to learn. In addition, using series of picture means
that the students try to connect the plot in the picture to be a link
of story.

3. Picture series must be simple. Too
many detail on a picture make the
students confused and lastly.
4. Picture series should be colorful in
order to make them more realistic
and attract the students’ attention.
