 Time to check the knowledge you have as we start to embark on our


journey to the World of Reality and Fantasy.

( 7 days) the following images if they are real or make-believe. Provide your
answer by putting a mark for real and an X mark for make-believe.

Learning Task 5. As a child, are you fond of watching animated


movies? Do you know who Moana is?( If not watch it with the copy
in your flash drive .)How about her friend, Demigod Maui? Below are
the images taken from the 2016 Disney Movie entitled “Moana.”
Identify whether each is a real image or make-believe image. In your
notebook, write MOANA if the image may exist in real life and write
MAUI if it is just a make-believe. (PIVOT LM p.9)
Learning Task 6: Have you heard about flora and fauna? These
two words can be used to refer to plants and animals. Your task is to
identify whether the following images of flora and fauna are FACT or
NON-FACT. Write your answers in your notebook. (PIVOT LM p.10)

Learning Task 7: Are you enjoying the learned new skill? Try to ace
this activity. The task is to identify whether the following images are
FACT or NON-FACT. Write your answers in your notebook. (PIVOT

Learning Task 8: Now, that you can distinguish real from make-
believe images, fact from non-fact images, it is time for you to create
your own. Be familiar with the rubric below which will be used in
rating your self-made illustrations. (PIVOT LM p.11)

Read and reflect on the message of the poem below. In your


notebook, create your own images (one real and one make-
believe images) related to the poem that you read. Consider the
indicators in the rubric in making your illustrations.

believe images, fact from non-fact images, it is time for you to create
your own. Be familiar with the rubric below which will be used in rating

In your notebook, create your own images (one real and one make-
believe images) related to the poem that you read. Consider the

believe images from old magazines and newspapers. Arrange and

purpose (to educate, to entertain or to persuade) of each
image. Assess if the picture is a real image or a make-

Learning Task 13: Write TRUE if the statement bears the


truth. If false, replace the underlined word with another word
to make the statement true. Write your answers in your

Additional Task 6: Strengthening your knowledge and skills.


Read the sentences. Do you think they can happen or exist in
real life? Write the word real if they can and make-believe if
they cannot.
1. The Carreon fam ily lived in a remote sitio in the town of

2. Kapres lived in the mountains of Igbaras.
3. The kapres appeared at night to frighten the village people.
4. The fathers in the built houses were made of nipa hut.
5. Many villagers were eaten by the kapre.
6. Nel and Cel were classmates since preschool.
7. Cel's mom is a well-known self-proclaimed witch in their
place.
8. Nel and Cel loved to play at Cel's house every afternoon.
9. Cel's mom heals sick people with her magic potion.
10. She can turn herself to a bird at night and visit one house
to the other.
