CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY
PT. Chakra Jawara’s corporate mission is to be the leading distributor of heavy-duty Class 5
trucks within Indonesia by offering “Integrated Transport Solutions” to the Indonesian
transport industry; in particular, the Mining, Logging, Construction and Oil & Gas industries.
Although a recently established company, PT. Chakra Jawara is a wholly owned subsidiary of
the Trakindo Group and as such has unlimited access to the experience, expertise and
resources of all the companies within the group.
With the resources of the Trakindo Group at the disposal of Chakra Jawara, transport
companies and contractors in Indonesia will receive un-paralleled logistic support for service
and spare parts throughout Indonesia.
IVECO Product Training Integrated Transport Solutions PT. Chakra Jawara

Iveco was founded, in 1974 as a result of the merger of five (5) leading, traditional European
manufacturers, which were joined in subsequent years by other companies.
Since then, the company has maintained its international character, which has evolved through
strategies targeted especially at emerging countries, like Indonesia.
On a world scale, IVECO produces about 200,000 commercial vehicles and more than 500,000
diesel engines every year making the company one of the leading international producers of
both vehicles and engines. Commercial vehicles produced include - light, medium and heavy-
duty trucks, buses, special vehicles for fire brigades and the defense industry, and in terms of
overall market share IVECO is number two in the European market.
For Indonesia only the Eurotrakker & Trakker heavy-duty range of trucks is being offered.
IVECO offered trucks from 250hp – 480hp with GCM ratings up to 120 tonnes.

Kenworth has been an industry leader ever since the first KW nameplate appeared on a truck
in 1923.
Kenworth is in the business of building tough, dependable trucks that can withstand some of
the most severe terrain and climatic conditions in the world and it is for this reason that
Kenworth builds trucks with a great deal of attention to detail, detail that pays off every day
the truck works.
The trucks are individually designed and hand built with inbuilt strength and durability to meet
the unique and specific demands of each type of operation, location and heavy-duty
application.
Kenwoth trucks have a worldwide reputation for renowned reliability; reliability that is based
on tough engineered job-specific designs coupled with the world best components.
Kenworth offers trucks from 250hp – 700hp with GCM ratings up to 250 tonnes.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
In an effort to ensure optimum product specifications, PT. Chakra Jawara works closely
with the engineering departments of both IVECO and KENWORTH trucks.
This close relationship with the respective engineering sections is to ensure that the
products offered by both manufacturers meets the performance and durability requirements
needed to operate successfully within the Indonesian transport industry irrespective of
application.
Further, the factory service and engineering personnel from both IVECO and KENWORTH
all have many years of industry knowledge gained both locally and overseas. More
importantly, they fully understand the harsh and often difficult operating conditions
experienced throughout the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia.

PRODUCT SUPPORT
PT. Chakra Jawara offers a comprehensive product support package to all clients that has
been designed to maximize equipment productivity and utilization for both the IVECO and
KENWORTH products.
The Product Support Organization of Chakra Jawara consists of three (3) departments,
Service, Parts and Training. All service personnel are skilled technicians and have
successfully completed IVECO and KENWORTH product training courses.

SERVICE SUPPORT
In addition to trained technicians, a comprehensive “Service Exchange” component
program is available to all clients for both IVECO and KENWORTH trucks and includes
such components as:
Engines
Transmissions
Differentials
Small Components – Turbochargers, injection pumps,
injectors, alternators, starter motors.
PT. Chakra Jawara service personnel rebuild all “Service
Exchange” components at our Balikpapan Branch facility using
only genuine spare parts and in accordance with the
manufacturers recommendations, ensuring that the rebuilt
component specification is within the manufacturers
recommended limits.
In addition, PT. Chakra Jawara can also offer clients an on-site
guaranteed “Fleet Maintenance Contract” for trucks and
equipment, with a charge-out rate based on either engine hours
worked or distance traveled in kilometers.

SPARE PARTS SUPPORT
The Trakindo Group has a network of established branches (+/- 54 branches) throughout
the country, all are operating with an integrated electronic Dealer Business System program
designed to provide world class logistics and process management to the spare parts
operations.
PT. Chakra Jawara as a member of the Trakindo Group, has incorporated both the IVECO
and KENWORTH truck spare parts operations with those of the Trakindo Group.
Client’s can access parts for either IVECO or

KENWORTH trucks from any Trakindo
branch facility within Indonesia,
providing clients with the largest parts and
service network of any truck
distributor in the country.
To date Chakra Jawara has invested over

U$D 3,600,000.00 in spare parts for both
the IVECO and KENWORTH products
With all parts inventory held in the Trakindo
central warehouse facility in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.

The Product Support of PT. Chakra Jawara
consists of 3 (three) departments; Service, Parts, Training.
PT. Chakra Jawara has developed in conjunction with

IVECO and Trakindo Training Center
a number of product training programs
(cover all aspects of truck servicing and maintenance).
The Training Center can conduct

product-training courses either in-house at
the training center or on-site at the client’s
service facility;

- Technician / Electrician Training
- Maintenance Management
