INTRODUCTION

The Furnace Safeguard Supervisory System (FSSS)


ensure the execution of a safe, orderly operating
sequence in the start-up and shutdown of fuel firing
equipment
FUNCTIONS
Furnace purge supervision.
Secondary air damper control.
Light oil on-off control.
Heavy oil on-off control.
Pulveriser control.
Flame scanner intelligence and checking.
Flame failure protection.
Boiler trip protection.
