 TIFG 1090L ≥ 950◦C  PAF bias to low Generated. Check/ adjust SUB damper for increase opening.
 High Coal Heating value  Increased PAF bias, Observe Furnace temp. for reaction.
 Too Low Material Circulating at Furnace  If too low material in the furnace, Maintain Overall DP to
 Bed Material Coarse or Heavy Required/align to Generator load and Conduct Bottom ash
withdrawal.
 Compensate by L/s injection, Increase gradually Air flow SAF and
PAF
 Increased DP by Sand feeding

9.0 FAB-A/B STOPPED

 Fan and Motor Bearing Temp. >7mm/s  Verify the cause of tripping.
 FAB Local Stop  Notify Maintenance Department to check the Equipment.

10.0 FAB-A/B BEARING TEMP HI/HI-HI

 Temp HI > 80 ◦C instrument.  For Bearing Temp HI-HI, Restart the unit when the repair is done

16.0 PRIMARY AIR FLOW LO-LO

 FIFA1071/FIFA2071  Faulty transmitter  Faulty transmitter & DCS glitch. Check through DCS and Call
 Flow LO-LO < 200 T/H  PAF damper abnormal opening attention of I&C engineer for calibration and glitch tracing.
 Visual inspection for local if damper has mechanical failure and
have it repair or replace by mechanical team.

 For Bearing Temp HI-HI, should supply > 1.0 ksc but < 1.6 ksc
MFT will be triggered  For Bearing Temp HI-HI, Restart the unit when the repair is done
and no major damages on the equipment

19.0 DEAERATOR LEVEL LO/LO-LO

CONDITIONS POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDIAL ACTION


 For D/A Level LO-LO, LSLL-  Stuck Up Deaerator Level Control Valve  For D/A Level LO-LO, immediately reduce load, then Reset the
CD11044 or LT-CD1104  Faulty Level Transmitters at Deaerator BFP breaker at MV MCC. For recovery of D/A level, increase the
1/2/3 (AVERAGE) < -2174  Sudden Opening of Emergency Drain to MV of D/A Level Control Valve or set it to manual. After level
mm {BFP TRIP COMMAND} Condenser recovers, restart the pump.

 BFP lube oil pressure LO-LO < 1.0 ksc  Check the troubled BFP stop first out link
 Motor bearing temperature > 100 deg. C  For Electrical Trouble, call attention of Electrical maintenance
 Pump bearing temperature > 100 deg. C  Check the lube oil level at local and check for possible oil line
 Motor winding temperature > 150 deg. C leakage
 Pump vibration HH > 16.4 mm/s  Check the transmitter/s that cause tripping of BFP for possible
 Motor vibration HH > 14.1 mm/s erratic signal call attention of I&C
 BFP Suction DP HH≥ 1.0 ksc  For D/A Level LO-LO, increase the MV of the D/A Level Control
 BFP Outlet Pressure LL < 155 ksc Valve or have it manual
 For Suction DP HH, replace the strainer

 Check the transmitter/s that cause tripping of BFP for possible
erratic signal call attention of I&C
 For D/A Level LO-LO, increase the MV of the D/A Level Control
Valve or have it manual.
 For Suction DP HH, replace the strainer

23.0 DRUM LEVEL HI/HI-HI

 LIBR*001/2/3  Faulty Level transmitters  Check the reliability of the level transmitter, call attention of I&C
 Level: HI > 127 mm  Sudden opening of Drum Level control personnel for troubleshooting
HI-HI > 254 mm (MFT) valve (FCVFW*130-1) or start up valve  For Control valves sudden opening, check the DCS through
{ 2 out of 3 } ((FCVFW*130-2) parameter trending, Check the actual status of the valve locally and
 Passing bypass valve (V-FW*017) troubleshoot (communicate with CRO). If still exist, Call attention of

 Sudden opening of HP bypass valve  Retighten the bypass valve in close position
during normal operation  For Drum Level HI-HI, after repair or troubleshooting is done,

 House mode operations  For Housemode operation, Follow SOP for Housemode Operations

24.0 DRUM LEVEL LO/LO-LO

 LIBR*001/2/3  Faulty Level transmitters  Check the reliability of the level transmitter, call attention of I&C
 Level: LO < -178 mm  Sudden closing of Drum Level control personnel for troubleshooting
LO-LO< - 254 mm valve (FCVFW*130-1) or start up valve  For Control valves sudden closing, check the DCS through
(MFT) { 2 out of 3 } ((FCVFW*130-2) parameter trending, Check the actual status of the valve locally and
 Passing MBD or CBD troubleshoot (communicate with CRO). If still exist, Coordinate with
 Sudden increase of Load (Droop) AO to Open bypass line with close coordination with CRO to
 Closing of Mains steam Valves (CV or monitor flow and opening. Call attention of maintenance for
MSV) rectification
 Boiler Tube Leak  For passing valves, try to retighten in close position
 For Main Steam Valves, check for any valves for abnormal
opening, Check for flow demand and actual opening difference
must be <2% and maintain load
 For Drum Level LO-LO, after repair or troubleshooting is done,
Restart the unit
 For Boiler Tube Leak, See SOP for Boiler Tube Leak

25.0 COAL FEEDER OUTLET TEMPERATURE HI

CONDITIONS POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDIAL ACTION


 TS-CL1061 > 70 ⁰C (varying  Sponcom of coal inside the coal  Check the alarm if exist at local and DCS. Assess the area and

valve of the troubled coal feeder, then start the coal feeder {Note:
Make sure that the air supply must be close during the reassigning}
 If above mitigation is not effective, ask the CRO to stop the coal
feeder, open the covers and manually remove the sponcom.

CONDITIONS POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDIAL ACTION


 Check accuracy of transmitters. Verify using thermal gun or other
temperature measuring devices and immediately report to I&C
maintenance for corrective actions.
 For Burned Coal at Discharge Bellow:
*Verify the flow of the purging and sweeping valves. Adjust if
necessary
*Open the PA purging valve to scrape the burned coal into the
furnace.
*Increase the opening of the staging damper near the troubled coal
feeder to help sweep the coal.
*Immediately inform the CRO to stop the coal feeder and increase
the furnace draft to -25mmAq or more
 For Sealing Valve Shortage: Check sealing valve to its minimum
flow range, increase if necessary.
 For coal quality (wet), Increase sealing, purging and sweeping air.
Verify with the auxiliary operator for possible water ingression on
coal silo (if other coal silos were ok)

26.0 COAL SILO A/B/C/ ABNORMAL

CONDITIONS POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDIAL ACTION


 Any of the following is  Coal silo level high sensor/transmitter  Verify actual level at coal silo by visual checking
triggered: activated.  If found overflow, contact MAH MCC to immediately stop the coal
-LSH-CL1008-A/B/C  Coal silo level low sensor/transmitter forwarding or ask permission to pull the cord.
-LSL-CL1008-A/B/C activated  Conduct purging of level transmitter. If level still high after a series
of purging, issue SR for checking of I&C maintenance.
L: 2.0 H : 7.0  Report to MAH MCC or inform your superior to ask their supervisor
LL: 1.0 HH: 7.5 for the next loading

27.0 COAL FEEDER A/B/C STOPPED

 Any of the following is  Coal feeder switched from remote to local  Confirm with other coal feeders if it compensates prior to the

-LSH-CL1008-A/B/C  Coal feeder discharge valve not open  Reduce load if necessary
-LSL-CL1008-A/B/C indication  Verify the Coal Feeder status in local if it is stopped and check the
 Motor &Gearbox problem selector at local panel if its on remote or local. If found local mode,
