• Conducting Programs
 Micro-planning to identity Gap and Define Strategy

Following steps have been taken to carry out the work in an efficient manner and the results of the steps taken
have shown positive effects and the identification of the areas which require more focus has been made possible
after applying this method. The steps are mentioned as below-

• Divide the Prabhag into smaller Pockets which helps in identifying various areas such as – Slum, Non
Slum, Commercial and Market areas
• After this step, the physical Survey and door to door campaign in the prabhag is carried out
• This survey helps us to understand the coverage and segregation status within that area.
• Joint meetings of PMC , Janwani and SWaCH staff is planned for the defining the strategy after
obtaining the survey results.
• Involvement of respective corporators – Society meetings, rallies, and other initiatives are organized.
• Updated information of the prabhag delivered to the corporators so that the areas of improvement
can be discussed upon in the respective meetings.
 Citizens’ Engagement – Awareness Programs

Various awareness programs are being organised presently in collaboration with PMC, Janwani, SWaCH and
corporators so that the Presumed target can be achieved. Some of the initiatives are mentioned-

• Project Stakeholders meetings

• Society meetings
• Schools Programs
• SHGs
• Senior citizens
• Society level exhibition for composting
• Ecofriendly Ganesh Utsav- This year on the occasion of 125th Ganesh festival, we have organized
various programs in schools and public places to encourage citizens and children to celebrate
pollution free Ganesh idol Visarjan. Pamplets regarding the same also have been distributed and
citizens too are supporting this initiative as well.
