A relief from
Government
The DDA has to remove all encroachments, including
d h o b i g h a t s i f a n y, f r o m t h e Ya m u n a f l o o d p l a i n s b y
March 31, according to the action plan

The Delhi CM announced that a host of steps would be


taken in the coming months to improve the quality of
the water coming from the existing sewage treatment
plants (STPs) and upgrade all the equipment at these
treatment units

As the fourth component, DJB plans to collect all the


sludge and septage from septic tank across Delhi and
then reuse it in biogas plant to generate gas and
e l e c t r i c i t y.
