Evaporation is a method used to
separate out homogeneous
What is mixtures that contain one or more
dissolved salts. The method drives
Evaporation? off the liquid components from the
solid components. The process
typically involves heating the mixture
until no more liquid remains.

Simply its is a methos used to

separate solute solids from liquids,
e.g. Salt in water and copper sulfate
is soluble in water
Processes for evaporation

1. A student is in the lab doing a project on separating mixtures decides

to pour salt in water without the teacher’s permission. He is caught
by his teacher and is told to separate this mixture. How would he do
it?
2. To separate this mixture the student would first need an evaporating
disk, Bunsen burner and a tripod.
3. First the student would need to pour the mixture into the evaporating
dish, place it on the stand and turn on the Bunsen burner.
4. After a while the water in the evaporating dish would start
decreasing until we are left with nothing but the salt.

Do you know what helps you make your point
clear? Lists like this one:

1. Because they’re simple

2. You can organize your ideas clearly
3. And because you’ll never forget to buy milk!

And the most important thing: the audience won’t

miss the point of your presentation
