Informative speech 

In an informative speech you

• Explain something to people


• Help people to understand something
• Show them how to do something
Example: The speech given by head of organization or A programmer
speaking about  new software.
Demonstrative speech 

This has many similarities with an informative speech. A demonstrative


speech also teaches you something. The main difference lies in
including a demonstration of how to do the thing you’re teaching.

Example: How to start your own blog or How to bake cake or how to
write a speech.
Persuasive speech

The persuasive speech is 

• To promote a specific product


• To convince someone to take action
• You want to them to think, act, believe in what you want them to
Example: improve your health through better eating , become volunteer
and change the world.
Entertaining speech 

Entertaining speeches are 


• Usually, short
• Giving the audience an enjoyable experience or make them laugh
• Purpose of entertaining speech is to hold attention, crowed pleasure, get
promotion
Example: after dinner speech,  comic monologues.
Conclusion 

The art of giving a speech is usually performed before a large or small

audience, like in a school, the workplace or even a personal gathering. We

give speeches every day and it could take many forms depending on the

types of speech that we are delivering.
