What is Business Ethics ?
Meaning – It comes from the Greek word “ETHIKOS” means
CHARACTER study of behaviour and values.

What is ethics- Ethics are the principles that guide us to make a

positive impact through our decisions and actions. Ethics play
an important role not only in our personal lives but also in business.
We are all encouraged to make ethical choices and apply ethics in
all areas of our lives.

By definition, business ethics refers to the standards for morally

right and wrong conduct in business. Law partially defines the
conduct, but “legal” and “ethical” aren’t necessarily the same.
Business ethics enhances the law by outlining acceptable
behaviours beyond government control.
