PRELIMINARIES
The Teacher and the
Community, School Culture
and Organizational Leadership

This course focuses on society as a context upon which the schools

have been established. Educational philosophies that are related to
the society as a foundation of schools and schooling shall be
emphasized. Further, principles and theories on school culture and
organizational leadership shall be included to prepare prospective
teachers to become school leaders and managers.

A. On attendance and participation

The class will meet SYNCHRONOUSLY (thru

Google Meet or Zoom) and
ASYNCHRONOUSLY (thru GC, Schoology,
or Google Classroom). The course learning
plan provides for the specifics as to what topics
will be covered, the mode of which and as to
when the class will meet for such. In all of
these, attendance and participation will be
closely monitored and will form part of the
scores for the criterion, Student Engagement.
Students are encouraged to join
during SYNCHRONOUS classes
and may ONLY be excused under
reasonable circumstances.
Attendance will be checked by the
assigned beadle upon supervision
of the subject teacher.

B. On submission of assigned outputs/projects

are for strict compliance. Outputs are to be
submitted via GOOGLE CLASSROOM
ONLY. This is for the subject teacher to
