DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
Objectives
1. To provide recommendations to help schools maintain
the continuity of learning for individual or small group of
students who are out-of-school for extended periods
while on quarantine time.
2. To encourage students to become active, compassionate
and lifelong learners who understand the situations and
crisis facing the country.
3. To use appropriate and different modes of alternative
learning to the learners and teaching styles of the teachers
based on the availability of ICT Resources

DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
Rationale

Col. Patrocinio Artuz National High School offers high standards and quality
education. The school strives to meet the needs and provides different
instructional program that will convey the values and goals of the staff toward
students and their learning.
Learning Continuity Planning is essential to the School’s operational
effectiveness and ability to fulfill our objectives in teaching and learning.
The recent experience with the COVID-19 pandemic has affected educational
systems worldwide, leading to the near-total closures of school. In the midst of
this pandemic crisis our call remains the same. The education must continue in
our school and we will assure that the learners, parents, teachers and
stakeholders will work hand in hand for the betterment of our education. Keep on
praying and we shall overcome this crisis.

Insights based on Survey Assessment

Based on result of the Survey Assessment most of

our learners could not make it on the online learning
instruction because most of them are from far flung
areas which they could not afford to purchase
gadgets and no access of internet connectivity.
If I were to analyse the only source that we can
mitigate is to hold a face to face learning instruction
but with the observation of proper safety and
protocols.
