Series
An arithmetic series is simply the sum of an
arithmetic sequence.

The word series implies sum. We can transform a


given arithmetic sequence into an arithmetic series
by adding the terms of the sequence.

An arithmetic means are the terms in between the
first and last term of the sequence.

Fibonacci
Sequence
Fibonacci numbers, commonly denoted   , form a sequence, the Fibonacci sequence, in which
each number is the sum of the two preceding ones.

0 being Term 0 or 0th , then followed by 1 being Term 1 or the 1st term.

Quadratic
Sequence
Quadratic sequences are sequences that include a term. They can be identified by the fact that
the differences between the terms are not equal, but the second differences between terms are
equal.

Quadratic sequences are ordered sets of numbers that follow a rule based on the sequence n2 =
1, 4, 9, 16, 25,… (the square numbers).

Quadratic sequences always include an term.
