Wall Load Calculation

Height of wall = 2.85 m

Unit Weight of masonary = 19 kN/m3. (IS 875 Part I)

Thickness of masonary (Outer wall) = 0.225 m

Unit Weight of Mortar = 20.4 kN/m3

Thickness of Mortar/Plaster = 0.025 m

Height of Parapet wall = 1 m

Load of 10” outer wall = 2.85 X 0.225 X 19 +2.85 X 0.025 X 20.4 = 14 kN/m

Load of 5” outer wall = 7 kN/m

Load of Parapet wall = 2.85 X 0.225 X 19 +2.85 X 0.025 X 20.4 = 7 kN/m
