• To improve livelihood opportunities and
protect the Balidbid Lagoon to become a
tourism landmark in the Municipality of Sta.
Fe and the whole island of Bantayan for the
next 10 years
• VISION: A well-conserved Balidbid Lagoon ecosystem
providing sustainable livelihood programs, eco-tourism
destination managed by the people’s organization for the
general welfare of the community.
• MISSION: Capacitate and empower the community to
manage, protect and promote sustainable tourism while
maintaining the natural resources of Balidbid Lagoon.
• GOAL: To improve livelihood opportunities and protect the
Balidbid Lagoon to become an eco-tourism landmark in the
Municipality of Sta. Fe and the whole island of Bantayan for
the next 10 years
OBJECTIVES
1. To promote awareness in the conservation and protection of
Balidbid lagoon through Communication, Education, and Public
Awareness (CEPA) programs.
2. Capacitate the people’s organization and community by
strengthening and integrating trainings, seminar, workshops
and learning events to effectively manage the protection and
conservation of Balidbid lagoon.
3. To maintain the biodiversity and the abundance of the marine
resources of the area.
4. To harmonize decisions among the PO, barangay officials, and
other concerned stakeholders in formulating local ordinances
and policies specific for the Balidbid lagoon.
