A. National worldview

Since October 28, 1928, we have become one nation from various ethnic,
racial, and religious backgrounds to build a unified national and state order.
1. Shedding blood for one Indonesian homeland.
2. A single nation, the Indonesian nation.
3. Upholding the unity language, the Indonesian language
(prioritize the Indonesian language, preserve regional languages, master
foreign languages)."
B. The Indonesian National
Outlook

The Indonesian National Outlook is what serves as a guideline or a

reference in daily life actions, which must be followed by the
Indonesian people in order to achieve the life as envisioned by the
Indonesian nation in the past.

Indonesia, slowly but surely, fulfills the goals of life as described in that
outlook. With a clear national outlook, Indonesia can tackle various
issues, be it political, social, economic, cultural, religious, and others.
C. Pancasila, as the
national outlook of the
nation, represents a
crystallization of the
values that live within
Indonesian society.
D.The Importance of a Nation's Perspective Based on
Pancasila
Pancasila should serve as the foundation for how the people and the
government of a nation should behave. Here is the importance of the
Indonesian national ideology, Pancasila:

First PrincipleThe society is guided that as Indonesian citizens, they must

worship God and have recognized beliefs.

Second PrincipleRealizing that fellow Indonesian citizens must respect each

other's human rights and have dignity as the people of the Republic of
Indonesia.

Third PrincipleUnite with all kinds of differences in the midst of nation-

building, regardless of ethnicity, culture, or religion, as all these differences
remain within one territorial entity, Indonesia.
Fourth PrincipleAchieve consensus as the goal of deliberation to reach a
final decision, as much as possible, through collective discussion, not based
on unilateral opinions or groups, but rather on the majority of the
population.

Fifth PrincipleBehave justly and receive the justice guaranteed by the state.
Pancasila as the Foundation for Character Education
• Pancasila is not only taught cognitively but also emotionally and through
practical application.

• The values of Pancasila serve as the spirit within the learning process.
Science and technology are linked to cultural and religious values, leading to
the development of science and technology based on a human-religious
foundation.

• Pancasila's values serve as a partner in dialogue, influencing science and

technology.

► Worldview is a guideline or a basis that can continually be used
for problem-solving, future goals, and self-development

► The understanding of this worldview is the background for the

formation of Pancasila. When Indonesia declared its independence
on August 17, 1945, leaders pondered what worldview would be
suitable for Indonesia, and the decision led to the formation of
Pancasila and the motto "Bhineka Tunggal Ika."
The conclusion of Pancasila as a way of life is that it serves as the
foundation of values, principles, and norms that guide the behavior
and interactions of the Indonesian society. Pancasila reflects a moral
and ethical framework, embodying the nation's vision, fostering
unity in diversity, prioritizing social justice, and respecting human
rights. It is not just a constitutional framework but also a way of life
that encompasses spiritual, moral, social, and political aspects in the
daily lives of the Indonesian people.
