Task
Select a business organisation of your choice that is operating in international or global
markets or one which is considering entering these markets.

Critically evaluate the different types of risks that the chosen business is likely to face when
pursuing internationalisation/global strategies.

Propose management recommendations on how to manage the risks associated with

internationalisation.

Draw from academic theory and discuss a balanced examination of risks arising from the
pursuit of internationalisation strategies.
An assessment of effective management strategies in dealing with the risks identified.
An analysis of the actual and potential risks of the business selected.
An assessment of the effectiveness of the different management responses applied in dealing
with the risks identified.
Propose justified recommendations on how to mitigate the risks discussed.
