    TENTATIVE
    Parachute Making
    • Students are required to create their
    own parachute from commercial plastic that will support
    a single 5-centavo coin.
    • The coin or bob should be made heavier by taping or attaching
    more weights to it. The object is for the parachute to fall the
    longest time before hitting the ground.
    • The grade will be recorded as quiz. The chutes are released in
    triads.

    • The chute that reaches the ground the longest time gets 10/10,
    followed by 9.5/10 then 9/10. Parachutes caught on trees or
    metal poles or do not reach the ground get 8.5/10. (TENTATIVE)
