SITUATION
•YOU ARE A CARTOONIST WHO WANTS TO IMPART THE BASIC CONCEPTS OF
NEWTON’S LAWS OF MOTION TO JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF LA SALLE
GREEN HILLS USING CARTOONING THROUGH A PROGRAM KNOWN AS “SINING AT
PISIKA”. YOU WILL COME UP WITH A SITUATION THAT IS RELATABLE TO THEM AND
MAKE A COMIC STRIP OUT OF THE SAID SITUATION OR EVENT. USING DIALOGUES
AND ILLUSTRATIONS IN YOUR COMIC STRIP, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DESCRIBE
AND EXPLAIN THE IMPORTANT PROPERTIES OF ANY ONE OR MORE OF NEWTON’S
THREE LAWS OF MOTION.

❑AN ORIGINAL SIX TO TEN – FRAME COMIC STRIP ABOUT ANY EVENT OR SITUATION (E.G. AMUSEMENT
PARK RIDES, SPORTS EVENTS, ROAD SAFETY , OR ROUTINE DAILY ACTIVITIES) DEPICTING ONE OR MORE
OF NEWTON’S THREE LAWS OF MOTION;
❑CHARACTERS THAT HAVE DIALOGUE ABOUT NEWTON’S LAW/S
(NOTE: INTEGRATION OF LASALLIAN VALUES INTO THE DIALOGUE IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED) ;
❑DRAWINGS (MUST INCLUDE FREE-BODY DIAGRAMS/VECTOR ANALYSIS) THAT ILLUSTRATE NEWTON’S
LAW/S AND CORRESPOND TO THE DIALOGUE YOU’VE CREATED;
❑APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE AND ILLUSTRATIONS; AND CYCLE 3 MEETING 4
❑PROPER SPELLING, GRAMMAR, AND USAGE
PROCEDURE
❑THE OUTPUT MUST BE HAND DRAWN IN A BOND PAPER (LANDSCAPE).
