Translation
In This Image Our question is to Determine The translation Of the
Original Coordinates, △X'Y'Z' is a translation of △XYZ. So, Lets
Find the New Coordinates.

- X’ = (-4, -1)
- Y’ = (0, 2)
- Z’ = (-6, 3)

of ReFlection
ReFlection
Here we are Reflecting A Triangle Using A Line of
Reflection That We Made which is x= -2 as shown in
the image. A reflection is like seeing a mirror image
of a shape. This happens by flipping the shape over a
line called the line of reflection. When one shape
reflects another, every point in the first shape is the
same distance from its matching point in the second
shape. The reflected shape looks the same in size and
shape, just facing the opposite way. Sometimes, the
position might shift too. The original shape is called
the pre-image, and its reflection is simply called the
image.

of ROTATION
ROTATION
To Rotate A Shape we Need:

• a centre of rotation

• an angle of rotation (given in degrees)

• a direction of rotation – either clockwise or anti-

clockwise. (Anti-clockwise direction is
sometimes known as counterclockwise direction).

For Example In the Image:

Rotate shape A 90 Degree clockwise, about a fixed

point. Shape A has been rotated a quarter turn
clockwise to give shape B.
