The minutes from the previous meeting were discussed and approved. Discussions for new issues were begun at 19:30 3273
Since many units keep trash cans outside of gate unable to enforce this unit to keep inside and also unable to enforce keeping landscape inside fence from overgrowth.

Had architectural engineer walk the property and he made many suggestions but did not feel that there was an erosion problem in the back of the community that needed attention. Only poor workmanship when units were constructed causing erosion under several units. This will be the responsibility of the homeowners to resolve. Will draft a letter to this effect to those homeowners. However, will try and obtain a second opinion from another engineer before sending out letters. Recommendation by engineer was to remove small pine trees growing between fence and retaining wall since root system in the future could cause a problem. Will obtain picture and inquire if Landscaping company could remove these. Will let Crystal know colors for units that need to paint rust stains. Light is on at pole at mailbox but probably not cost effective to replace with light sensor. Discussed the need to replace bar at exit gate. Those present at meeting today did not feel necessary and probably a benefit to movers and other large trucks not to have present. 5/28/13 bar replaced. 3369 Board approved for adding gutter extension on front of unit. Ant Hills: The many ant hills especially around the mailboxes were noted. Tom Biber has agreed to put powder on them to eliminate problem. Addressed c/o a unit of low water pressure. Do not feel a need for association to send out a plumber but the owners may. If more units complain will then reassess. The meeting was adjourned at 20:30 and all agreed to meet again on June 5th, same time, and same place.
