County Executive, Town of Colonie and Midway Fire Department to Honor Bill Teator for 50 Years of Answering the Call
Albany County is fortunate to have many dedicated men and women who work tirelessly to serve our community as first responders. These people who give of themselves every day to fight fires, answer rescue calls and keep firefighters safe by serving as fire police and securing fire scenes. One person of note is Bill Teator of Colonie who retired in May after serving the community in this role since 1962. Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy and Colonie Town Supervisor Paula Mahan will join with representatives of Colonie EMS, the Midway Fire Department and the Western Turnpike Rescue Squad to honor Bill for his long record of service on Monday July 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Midway Fire House Station 1 at 1956 Central Avenue in Colonie.
