Prove that electric field at any point due to infinite uniform plane charge density . Three co-axial cylindrical sheets of charge are present in space, of charge densities at r = 3 m: at r = 4 m and at r = 6 m, find the displacement density at r = 2 m and r = 6 m. Derive relative permittivity expression from the concept of polarization of dielectric materials. Assume the region between two parallel plates is filled with a dielectric of relative permittivity = 3 and separated by 5 mm is applied a voltage of 5 KV. Find the electric field and the polarization of dielectric between the plates. Derive an expression for capacitance C of a spherical capacitor formed with concentric spherical conductors of inner conductor radius a and outer conductor radius b and an applied potential of Vo between them. Also prove that energy stored in this charge distribution is

Explain in detail the Amperes law of force. Two identical circular loops each carrying current of 100 amps are placed at a distance of 0.01 m. Find the force attraction / repulsion between them. Two coils having the same self inductance are connected in series. When a current I flows through the coil, the magnetic energy stored in the field is W joules. If the connections of one coil is interchanged and the current is reduced to I/2, the energy stored is again W joules. Calculate the ratio of mutual inductance to self inductance. Discuss about the inconsistency of Amperes law and hence concept of displacement current density. Explain the importance of displacement current.
