POINTS OF GRATITUDE
* Thank you to all the families that participated doing Random Acts of Caring and Kindness. I have compiled the projects and will be sending home the book of RACK projects for your family to look at each night. Feel free to write a note to our class after looking at the book!

NOTES
* January Parent Volunteer sign-up is up! Click here to sign up. I really appreciate your help in our classroom! * I will NOT be meeting with guided reading groups next week so I can complete running records. I will be sending home your childs new Reading Level as I complete their assessment. This means that no reading group books will be sent home next week.

CURRICULUM CORNER
* We are starting Math Unit 5. Check out some great Building Skills through Games (page 109 of the math homelink packet) * In reading we will be working on the skill of visualization. When your child is reading, periodically stop and ask them what pictures they see in their brain as they read.. Here is a chart to help understand visualizing:
