Abstract:

The study aims to shed light on the concept of university

publishing, and its history, the size of the university publishing
industry in the world and its challenges facing in the digital age,
recent trends in academic publishing, constraints faced by the
university publishing in the Arab world, and finally a set of
recommendations and proposals to ensure that overcome the
obstacles facing scholarly publishing in the Arab and Egyptian
universities
