CHAPTER 3

Methodology
Research Design
This study was made in descriptive or correlation method. The study
was made to know the perceptions of the students about the effects of
Computer-generated towards the awareness and appreciation of Classical
music.
Respondents
The chosen respondents were the 2nd year students of the Bachelor of
Music of the University of the Immaculate Conception (Main). The
respondents population is twenty-three which is based on the official
enrollees of this semester. Due to their small population, we used the
universal sampling technique to get the number of respondents.
Research Design
Survey questionnaire was used to gather data from the studentrespondents. The type of questionnaire used is the close ended: yes/no type
in which the respondents answers are limited only to yes/no. This type of
questionnaire was used in order to know the awareness and level of
appreciation of the respondents towards classical music.

Treatment of the Data

Due to the fact that this term-paper is for preliminary study and not a
need to earn a degree, we did not attempt to use complex and advanced
statistics to assess the data we got. Only tallying and getting the percentage
of the result is to be done.
