Weekly Theme: Lego mini-figures

Students will design a Lego superhero mini-figure,
draw it, and write about it. We will also incorporate
Lego blocks into the weeks Math activities with
graphing and with addition mystery pictures.
Your child may bring to school one or two Lego
mini-figures to show the class.

Important Information:

1. No homework this week.

2. Wednesday is our class party. We will have
pizza and snacks starting at 11:45.
3. Thursday is our movie and pajama day. We will
watch A Bugs Life in honor of our insect
science unit. Your child may bring a stuffed
animal to school.
4. Students will be taking home their notebooks
and extra supplies this week. Extra plastic
grocery bags are appreciated.
5. Friday, May 22nd is our last day. Report cards
will go home, and dismissal is at 11:00. Our
school-wide Dia de las Familias presentation
will be 9-9:45. NO backpacks on Friday.

We were a real community, and each student has a
special place in my heart!

Ill be sending home summer reading program information inside your

childs report card. I will also send home a summer practice work packet
to help prepare them for Second Grade. Keep learning and leading!
