Rationale When writing or speaking about two or more things to be compared
it is necessary to learn to use adequately the right adjectives with its right
comparative or superlative form, involving these critical thinking skills while
using comparative forms in English.
Lesson Content

Comparative and Superlatives

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES
a. Warm-Up T will show a musical video on comparatives and superlatives
(ss. will watch and listen)

b. Teaching Procedures
Presentation:
A) Activate prior knowledge: T will show an apple and pineapple (ss. will be asked
to compare them)
B)Three ss. are going to be asked to stand up. T will introduce one syllable
adjectives: (Juan is tall, but Mario is taller than Juan. Juan is shorter than Mario)
ss. will compare their heights.
C)Three more ss. will be asked to stand up. T will introduce the superlative form.
(Mario is taller than Juan, but Sam is taller than Mario. Sam is the tallest of the
three.
D)T will show a video on how to make the comparative and superlative forms.
